Mike Tyson has told Deontay Wilder to go out and get a rematch with Tyson Fury – despite the fact the Brit has walked away.
Fury lost patience with dethroned world champion after their trilogy clash was twice delayed due to the coronavirus crisis.
The fight was then parked until 2021 which forced Fury to abandon his commitment to give Wilder a shot at his old belt.
The American and his team have now sought legal action despite Fury agreeing to instead fight Agit Kabayel in London next month.
And Tyson, who returns to the ring against Roy Jones Jr this month, has encouraged his countryman to keep fighting.
"When Wilder gets his head out of his butt, he's good. Wilder just gotta stop internalizing stuff, this guy is great," he told ESPN.
"Just keep on fighting; Fight [Fury] again… fight him a third time. Whenever you have an opportunity to fight for the title, he should fight.
"We [as boxers] can only do this for a certain amount of time in our life, and then we can't do it anymore. So we have to do it as much as we can before we end this stuff."

Fury, however, looks unlikely to yield as he plots a clash with fellow world champion Anthony Joshua next year.
He said recently: "The original date was July 18. That didn't happen because he had an injury so it got put back three months to October, then that didn't happen because they were trying to get a venue.
"And then they had three dates in December – 5th, 12th, 19th – which I agreed to all them and obviously that didn't happen. So, I'm not going to wait around forever."
