Eric Bailly's agency has warned Manchester United that if the defender's situation doesn't improve it will "need to be assessed."
The centre-back signed a new deal with the Red Devils at the start of the year, which will keep him at United until 2022.
But the Ivorian has played just four games in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer favouring a partnership of Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire at the back.
Bailly has been plagued with injuries this season, which hasn't helped his situation, but he doesn't appear to be at the forefront of Solskjaer's plans none the less.
Head of Promoesport in Italy – the agency that represents Bailly – Graziano Battistini recently spoke out about the centre-back's situation at United.

And told Calciomercato that if things don't start improving, Bailly may be on the move.
"The experience with the Red Devils depends, as always, on luck, who you meet, on the opportunities," Battistini explained.
"If he has the right chances, for me he can be an important player to solve some problems of the team. If all this does not happen, it is clear that the situation will need to be assessed, but now it is too early to say certain things.
"My Spanish partners who manage him are cautious in all respects, but the boy is very focused on Manchester United."
Bailly was linked with a move to AC Milan in the summer transfer window, ahead of signing fresh terms with the Red Devils.

On the approach from the Serie A leaders, Battistini added: "The boy is in an important context such as that of United, before evaluating an exit there must be absolutely valid situations.
"The Milan idea may have a logic, but we need to evaluate many implications, today we are talking about nothing."
