A two-month-old baby has died after having heroin injected into her head, police have announced.
Tragic Brixlee Marie Lee was pronounced dead three days after she was rushed to hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Tests later confirmed that he had the drug in her system, and three people, including her mum and grandmother, have been arrested.
Medics performed CPR as the infant's heart began to fail while she was in the ambulance, but doctors were unable to save her life.
Brixlee's mum, 21-year-old Destiny Harbour, grandmother Christin Chanelle Bradley, 37, and Bradley's boyfriend, Dustin Wayne Smock, 34, all face First Degree Felony Injury to Child charges.
Further charges are likely to follow, investigators said.

In a statement, police said: "The attending physician later advised that Lee was in cardio-respiratory failure and that, had the medical intervention not occurred when it did, Lee would have died.
"Staff also advised the officers that Lee had injection sites on her extremities and head and that she tested positive for heroin.
"Lee was transported later that day to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, where she remained on life-support until physicians pronounced her death on Tuesday, November 10, 2020."
