Beverley Callard has shared her journey of recovery after major surgery this year, ahead of her I'm A Celebrity 2020 arrival.
The Coronation Street legend, who plays Liz McDonald on the ITV soap, underwent two big operations on her hip earlier this year, one in March and the second in July.
Her first op was botched, and left her in agonising pain before she had further surgery to attempt to correct it.
Since then, she has completed physiotherapy and other treatments, after she had to learn to walk again.
But Beverley says she wasn't going to give up her chance to be on I'm A Celebrity without a fight.

Speaking to Mirror online and other press, the soap legend revealed she "worked her socks off" to get to where she is with her progress now.
She also shared her doctor's amazed reaction to seeing how well she was doing in such a short space of time.
She told us: "I had one operation in March, then the great big one on the 20th of July."

Beverley detailed the surgery and what she had been through in the aftermath.
She confided in her doctor about the possibility of doing the jungle series, but he was convinced she would have to give it a miss.
She explained: "I told him about it and he said, 'Beverley, you've got no chance'."

But as the months passed and her doctor saw her progress, he couldn't believe how far she had come – as she worked hard to get back her strength.
She revealed: "He said I'm a hell of a woman, he said he couldn't believe it and the hospital wanted to use me as an example."
On what she's ruled out of on the series, she added: "There is only one thing I'm not allowed to do, and that's a bungee jump.

"That's the only thing I can't do, cos I would hate it if they said, 'Beverley can't take part because of medical reasons'."
She added: "I can walk, I can go upstairs, I can do everything. I have not missed one physio session, I've done hydrotherapy, I've done the whole lot.
"Believe me I have worked my socks off to be here, so I am not gonna quit."
