Oliver, who has a rare form of mitochondrial disease, was hospitalised after suffering a nasty bout of seizures and put into a coma.
Steve and Leanne lost the High Court battle and next week, Leanne tries to sue the hospital for negligence.
However, Imran tells her that he and Elliot are no longer willing to represent her.
Leanne is furious – even more so when her sister Toyah supports Imran and says that he found it incredibly difficult to come to the conclusion she did.
Later in the week, Dr Howarth tells Steve and Leanne that they are concerned about Oliver's liver function.
She goes to Imran to plead with him to help her, but he refuses and she barricades herself in his office.
But Nick and Toyah eventually make their way in when the hospital rings and Oliver suddenly arrests.
Steve tries to persuade Leanne to let their son die with dignity and she agrees.
The pair stay by their son's side as they sing You Are My Sunshine until he dies.
Geoff teams up with Ray
Geoff Metcalfe will end up teaming up with fellow villain Ray Crosby when the Bistro owner offers to buy No. 6.
However, his decision to suddenly agree to sell prompts suspicion from Alya as she is convinced something else is going on.
Geoff tells her that he is planning to sell up and move to Cyprus.
Later, Alya speaks to Ryan and he says the satnav in the van suggests that he has been frequently visiting Oldham.
Could his visits have something to do with Elaine's disappearance?
Jenny's step-daughter turns up
Jenny's step-daughter will turn up on the cobbles as her life falls apart around her.
Unable to deal with the guilt, Johnny tells Margaret in the part he played in the robbery which involved her son, who tragically later died.
As Jenny's step-daughter Daisy and boyfriend turn up for lunch, the police turn up and tell him that he is arrested on suspicion of burglary and GBH.
Will Johnny end up going to prison?
