Ranvir Singh has played down the prospect of romance with her Strictly partner Giovanni Pernice ahead of their sexy Argentine tango tonight.
The Good Morning Britain host’s seductive hip-wriggles during last week’s cha cha cha sparked fears of the Strictly curse.
Head judge Shirley Ballas told them: “I love the flirting and teasing.”
But single mum Ranvir, 43, said: “We both find the idea that we might get hit by the curse very funny – he is a 30-year-old man!”
Fellow contestant Jamie Laing agreed there was little chance of them getting romantic, saying Ranvir told him she usually hated Giovanni by the end of a hard day’s training.

Laing revealed: “I was talking to Ranvir the other day, who's just wonderful, and she said 'at the end of the day I HATE Giovanni. Hate him'.
“They have such a funny relationship, like brother and sister. He is so competitive and she is so laid back and it makes him furious. It's hilarious. I just don't see how the curse can happen.”
Last night Ranvir said that she had worked very hard on her dance this week, being performed to Prince's When Doves Cry.
The dancing pair's chemistry has been pointed out by fans of the show
“I’m on my third pair of dance shoes already and every night I’m dreaming of the moves,” she said.
“Giovanni works me hard, I hobble home at the end of a day's training with my goal being to get the family and puppy sorted, eat, and then put my feet up.”
Last week, the show's head judge Shirley Ballas told the couple: "I love the flirting and teasing, there's definitely a strong chemistry between this team."
They are very close
In a training video for the sensual dance shown on It Takes Two this week, Giovanni told Ranvir: “I want you to come close.”
Afterwards he explained: “Argentine Tango is about the chemistry between the two dancers.”
Ranvir agreed: “It is about the passion. I am loving it.”
