Jordan North is scared of many things – heights, lifts, enclosed spaces, snakes, creepy crawlies…
Which means the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here castle is a surprising place to find the 30-year-old Radio 1 DJ.
The last week has seen Jordan face those fears head on, battling his way through four trials to bring home the stars for his campmates who have dined on delicacies such as eel and squirrel as a result.
And the star is determined to get as far in the show as he can for one admirable reason – he wants to buy his mum Wendy a new kitchen.

Speaking about his reasons for signing up to the notoriously grizzly ITV show, he previously said: "I've watched it since I was a kid. Plus, let's be honest, 2020 has been a tough year for everyone. So, it's something different.
"I had quite a six months during lockdown and if I'm honest, my mum wants a new kitchen. So I said, if all goes well, I'll help her get a new kitchen.”
Wendy and dad Graham have been cheering him on from their home in Spain, although she admitted she's been using all her votes to nominate him for the trials!

“It’s awful because I don’t know whether to vote for him or not vote for him, I don’t know whether I’m doing the right thing, but I used all five votes on him. Is that a good thing as a mother?" she told The Mirror exclusively earlier this week.
“When I saw him [in Viper Vault] I just wanted to give him big love. It was awful and then from that he’s just triumphed, I can’t believe it.
“He’s gone from such fear into actually getting nine stars – it’s amazing.”
At home, Wendy said her son isn't one for being cold, which isn't ideal when it comes to a chilly Welsh castle in the depths of winter.

She continued: “I think he has softened a little bit. I love him to bits but he’s a right b*tch when he’s cold. He just does not talk to anybody.
"He just goes in on himself and moves himself away. That might be tricky around the camp fire.”
What's more, she said ghosts are one of his biggest fears and revealed that when he was at university, he actually called in a man of the cloth because he thought he was being haunted.

“Whenever we moved property Jordan was always convinced that there was a ghost in every house we lived in.
"And when he actually went to uni he got once of his uni friends who was studying religion to bless his halls of residence," Wendy said.
“He thought it was haunted by a ghost. A gay ghost. He had holy water and everything so I don't know how he is going to do in the castle. I think his fears will be heightened.”
