Ian Wright believes Chelsea and Tottenham will share the points as two of the Premier League frontrunners face off at Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard's in-form Blues are searching for a fourth league victory in a row as they host third-place Spurs on Sunday.

But Jose Mourinho's men are also on a fine run of their own, with four consecutive league wins including a 2-0 victory over Manchester City in their last outing.

A point would be enough for Spurs to go top of the table, while victory for Chelsea would see them leapfrog their bitter rivals and Liverpool to claim first place.

The game appears finely poised and Arsenal icon Wright cannot pick between the teams, predicting an entertaining draw in west London.

“I’m going to go with a draw, probably 2-2 or something. I fancy a draw in that game," he told Optus Sport .

Wright also fired a warning to Chelsea over Spurs' lethal counter-attacking ability, which worked to great effect in the win over Manchester City.

He added: "When you’re playing against teams like Manchester City or Arsenal or even Chelsea, who will try and come at you, why not do what Tottenham are doing? It’s very effective. If you don’t pick up Harry Kane and you’ve got runners behind.

“Against City, they totally exposed them with the quality. The ball [Tanguy] Ndombele put in, Harry Kane’s great movement in front, Son [Heung-min] going beyond. I think that works for them.

“I’d be interested to see the Tottenham fans in there now because that works. The way they are playing works and it looked pretty good against Manchester City the other day.”

Son and Kane have started the season in prolific fashion – with 16 goals in 18 games between them – and are on course to break a Premier League record set by Lampard and Didier Drogba.
