Beat The Chasers viewers are in for a treat on Wednesday night’s instalment of the ITV show.

Avid fans of the game show will no doubt immediately fall in love with contestant Rachel who left host Bradley Walsh giggling after she explained how her baby tortoise Nigel helped her to get engaged.

The Leeds native stepped onto the gameshow stage to take on all five chasers Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Shaun Wallace.

Rachel, who works as a trainee accountant, shared some details about her personal life – which in turn left The Chasers in stitches.

After Bradley asked the bubbly contestant what she likes to do in her spare time, Rachel replied: “I like to sit at home, watch films, and I love to take care of my little baby tortoise.

She went on: “He put the ring on him. He tried to put it on his leg, but he was having none of it.
