David and Victoria Beckham have narrowly avoided the third national lockdown by reportedly secretly flying out to Miami for new year's eve.
With travel restrictions looming, it has been reported that the Beckhams jetted out of the UK by private plane on Christmas Day and are now staying with Brooklyn's fiancée Nicola Peltz's family's billionaire pad in Florida.
The Sun has reported that the Beckhams tested negative for coronavirus before their trip, with David and Victoria being joined by Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15 and Harper, nine.
There seems to be no plans for a return to Blighty before the end of February, with the family planning to home school remotely from Miami.
The trip doesn't break any Covid restrictions as it is being seen as a work trip for David, as he will be working with his Major Soccer League franchise, Inter Miami, which he owns.

He is hoping to help "recruit new players" for Inter Miami and has not been able to be with the team "since last March due to restrictions".
It has been reported that the Beckhams spent Christmas morning at their home in the Cotswolds, which was in Tier Two at the time, before flying out to Florida.

The third lockdown came into effect after they left the country and with schools remaining shut, they are taking the opportunity to spend extra time in Miami.
Current government restrictions have meant that all foreign travel has been banned unless it is for work purposes.
British citizens returning to the UK since the lockdown announcement, now have to give a negative Covid test before self-isolating for five days.
