Jessie J has broken cover for the first time since her Christmas hospital scare.

The singer was diagnosed with Meniere's disease, which is an ear condition causing vertigo and the sensation of spinning, and leads to hearing problems such as a ringing sound in the ear.

Price Tag's hitmaker, 32, confided in her 9.4 million fans she had rushed to hospital on Christmas Eve when she felt she had gone completely deaf in one ear.

Since then, Jessie was spotted for the first time keeping a low profile while she took her car out for a spin in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The songstress looked deep in her thoughts on her drive while she went about her day-to-day life.
