A joiner who won an amazing £58million lottery jackpot treated seven of his friends to a first-class holiday in Dubai.

Ryan Hoyle, 38, treated his pals to five-star penthouse suites and £1,700 bottles of vodka and Champagne over the New Year.

The self-employed joiner discovered he had won £58,366,487 on EuroMillions last April while checking his emails at 6am.

The coronavirus pandemic had prevented Ryan from celebrating properly, but he and seven of his tradesmen pals finally made the trip to Dubai a few weeks ago.

It was totally different from the two-star stag parties the group have previously enjoyed in Magaluf and Benidorm.

Ryan, of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, told The Sun : “Covid’s made things tough for everyone so it was great to be able to get away and have a party.

"I’ve known all the lads for around 20 years and wanted to treat them to a trip they’d never forget.”

During the holiday, the group were pictured drinking £1,700 six-litre bottles of Laurent Perrier champagne and £1,700 six-litre bottles of Ciroc vodka.

They stayed in two top-floor penthouses with a private terrace at the Five Jumeirah Village Hotel which cost Ryan £20,000.

Ryan and his pals partied at the Zero Gravity beach bar and club, where a number of celebrities, including Justin Bieber, regularly visit.

Peter Garry, who has known Ryan for 20 years, said: "He’s the best friend anyone could have. There’s never been anything flash about him and the win hasn’t changed him a bit – he’s still the same great guy."

Ryan and his friends flew out in economy with Emirates because there were no other seats available. But on the way home they flew first-class costing £6,000 each.

Peter added he dined on venison during the trip home.

"It was the perfect end to the perfect week," he said.

According to The Sun, Ryan has an 11-year-old daughter and plans to treat her to a trip to Disneyland in Florida once restrictions ease.

Ryan was so stunned when he realised he had won the EuroMillions jackpot he drove to his mum and dad's house at 6am.

“I was shaking and really needed a second opinion so I jumped in the van and drove round to mum and dad’s house," he said in April.

"I stuck to the government guidelines and kept a safe distance outside and passed the phone through the window for them to double-check for me.

"They even checked my numbers against another website, just to be sure. It was real – I had won £58million."

Ryan said his parents were shocked, but kept calm considering the huge sum they were all looking at.

“Dad congratulated me from inside their house whilst Mum shouted out if she could retire now?! I replied yes,” Ryan added.
