Denise Van Outen has spoken out about her fellow Dancing On Ice star Yebin Mok's horrific injury that has forced her to pull out of the competition.
The skater was revealed to have been "stabbed" in the leg with an ice skating blade during a "freak accident", while she trained with celebrity partner Graham Bell.
And Rebekah Vardy accidentally sliced open her partner Andy Buchanan's face in training, with the pouring blood almost making her faint.
Denise told The Mirror and other media: "Obviously all of us are really sympathetic to what’s happened, it’s terrible that this has happened so close to the live shows.
"Any injury is awful and we have all worked so hard.
"I have always been petrified on the ice and of getting an injury or falling, and I have fallen over most of my sessions.
Denise Van Outen and professional partner Matt Evers moved in together
"I have learnt to go with the fall, you have to accept it's part and parcel of what you do.
"None of us want to get injured but I am trying not to stress about it, because when I first started on the ice I was so nervous that my whole body would tense and I would keep falling over.
"So I am trying to stay relaxed and not think about injuries. You can never predict what is going to happen on ice but i have got to hope we will make it through the competition and not be taken out by injury."

She added: "It is scary and I really feel for Graham and Yebin, it’s really sad that it’s happened to close to the competition."
Denise joked about living with her partner Matt Evers, and being in a "throuple" withe her boyfriend Eddie Boxshall.
"We have taken our relationship to the next level," she said.

"We get a lot of strange looks from my elderly neighbours next door, I always leave with a smile on my face!"
She explained Matt was unable to return to his home in America and was lonely in lockdown living on his own, so they asked him to move in.
She revealed her daughter Betsy "adores him" and they are always doing TikToks together.

"If I do manage to go the distance [in the show], which I think is unlikely, then I would always look back with really fond memories, we have shared some lovely moments together as a family," she gushed.,
Denise said she was much more confident when she did Strictly because of her dancing experience when she was a child – but this time around it was much harder.
Ballet and skating are so different in terms of your lines and balance, she said, that her past ballet experience has been a hindrance if anything.
