This stunning 11-bedroom castle is on the market for £3m and even has a secret dungeon.
The huge property has more than 15,000 sq ft of space and sits on 14 acres of land equal to more than ten football pitches.
It is also surrounded by a nature reserve offering stunning views, and has a golf course on the doorstep.
The Grade II* building has been created in a Palladian style and is described as a "true English retreat" by the letting agent, with a grand driveway lit by Victorian street lamps leading to the front door.
Located in the countryside of County Durham, the spectacular 'Castle Eden' was built for a Conservative politician and local landowner in the 1700s.

One of its most interesting features is the dungeon, which is accessible via stone steps and sprawls out underneath the entire footprint of the castle.
It also boasts an orangery, 12 bathrooms, a dining room, lounge, living room and kitchen, with numerous other features including fireplaces and bespoke murals.
The sleeping quarters include five bedrooms on the first floor and six on the second – eight of which are doubles.
The property is being sold for an estimated £3m by the firm Nest Seekers International, based in plush Mayfair, London.

Speaking about the dungeon, spokesperson Lindsay Harrison said: "It could be a wine cellar, you could put a spa treatment room in there, a cinema room, a games room.
"You could have all of them because it so vast, there is massive potential."
And talking about the property as a whole, she told The Sun : "Compared to something down south it is absolutely a steal.
"About 20 years ago it was in a bad way and the owners who picked it up then refurbished it all and did extensive work on it.
"Now it looks like it's not been touched – they've taken the whole style and brought it back to its traditional ways."

The listing reads: "The Georgian manor house which is steeped in history since the early 1700s has been through extensive renovations throughout its prime.
"The attached courtyard buildings have since been converted into separate residences that complement the area. The opportunities for this area are endless.
"The Castle is truly exceptional and a true one of a kind with links to many popular destinations such as Hardwicke Hall which is a five-minute drive away.
"Historical town Durham is a short 20 minute drive and the hustle and bustle of Newcastle City centre is a short 35 minute drive."
Palladian style – or Palladianism – is an approach to architecture influenced by Andrea Palladio. Its classical features are often symmetry, austerity and strict proportions.
