Megan Barton-Hanson has told that she "cringes" over a social media post in which she alleged that Dancing On Ice pro Vanessa Bauer had "tactically" announced a break-up.
Vanessa was set to take to the ice with Megan's then-boyfriend and Love Island beau Wes Nelson.
She told of her split from Louis Nathaniel just before their first performance in 2019's series.
Megan penned a lengthy Instagram post hitting out at Vanessa, but she's now told that looking back at the episode makes her "cringe."
The two women had put their differences behind them over the phone, Wes told soon after, and Megan turned up to cheer the two on even after she'd split from Wes.

"Sometimes I react instantly and don't think about the consequences so there's a few things that make my cringe," Megan recently wrote during an Instagram Q&A.
"BUT everything I've done I've learnt from so whateverrrrr."
She then listed some of the things she "mildly regrets", including: "That one DOI Insta story."
Taking to her Instagram Stories in January 2019, Megan had captioned a snap of herself: "Love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!

Megan told she 'cringes' when looking back at their spat
"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night you didn't even look me in the eye LOL."
She added: "Hope the tactical breakup got your the headlines you wanted babe."
But Wes told Heart Radio soon after that they'd resolved their differences, and made it clear that his loyalty lay with Megan.

Despite Wes' loyalty, the relationship wasn't meant to be and they went their separate ways after six months together.
Megan took to her Instagram Stories with a joint statement from her and Wes, telling fans that "with hearts full of sadness we have decided to separate."
But Megan added that she'd appear at Dancing On Ice the following night to cheer on Wes and Vanessa.
"In all seriousness, I am so grateful and blessed to have found Wes, I will always love and adore him, and I am so lucky to call him my best friend," she remarked.
