Sometimes she will simply upload a snap of herself on the school run.

The rate of pay varies day to day, with Jane's biggest single day haul topping out at £160.

"I like to think of it as moving away from the seedy side of things," she explained.

She continued: "Guys just want normal girls. Some of them just message saying 'how are you today?'.

"I was quite surprised. You're always going to get show us this or show us that but you've just got to be really careful because you're going to get guys who want to see something for nothing.

"But at the end of the day you've just got to say this is a job for me and you'll have to drop the tips."

Jane, who has been married for almost 20 years, explained what makes her popular on the site.

"I just have a happy smile. You don't always have to be stood there topless."

She only puts nice headshots on her main profile page and makes an effort to get to know her followers.

"Sometimes I just take a picture after getting out the shower with a towel on to get people interested," Jane said.

"Some people want to know what you look like with no makeup on."

When asked by young girls about the venture, the mum – who has teenage sons aged 16 and 18 – tells them: "Keep it real, keep it natural and keep safe."

They even downsized their home following her retirement.

She added: "I do it to put food on the table."

She has found it fits in with her lifestyle as she "can't hold any sort of job down".

"One day I can't walk out of the front door the next I'll be in bed all day," she added.

Jane said her new side-hustle has also helped her relationship with her husband, 55.

"It's improved my relationship with my husband because it gives me confidence," she continued.

"It's improved our sex life."

She describes Only Fans as as "escapism" and "fantasy" which is "what everyone wants at the moment".

Jane has suffered from a number of health conditions and was given just four weeks to live in 2001.

She was "riddled with cancer" and received treatment in Manchester for Hodgkin's disease.

Last year she was rushed into hospital in October with heart and lung failure.

She spent two weeks in hospital and is still awaiting a diagnosis.

In order to help her condition, she is currently taking steroids, leading to her gaining weight which she is "devastated about".

Due to this, Jane hasn't been able to post on OnlyFans as much as she'd like, but hopes to in the future.
