Fabio Paratici is already making plans for his first splash when he is officially appointed by Tottenham.
The former Juventus sporting director is expected to have his Spurs role confirmed by the end of the week after leaving the Serie A giants earlier this year.
Paratici will work alongside Daniel levy as they narrow down on potential managerial candidates to replace Jose Mourinho.
Anotinio Conte, who worked with Paratici in Turin, had been widely expected to get the manager’s job, only for talks to break down due to fundamental differences between the coach and club.
Despite that, Spurs’ new transfer guru is already plotting a number of moves, with departures expected to help fund any new arrivals.

And according to reports from Italy, Paratici could look to raid his old club to help put his fingerprints instantly on the Spurs squad.
Calciomercato claim that Leonardo Bonucci and Dejan Kulusevski could be on his radar to kickstart his era in north London.
While Bonucci would quickly add experience to Spurs’ somewhat shaky back four, Kulusevski would be the kind of signing to get any disgruntled fans quickly back on board with Levy.

Paratici sanctioned the Swede’s €35m move from Atalanta to the Old Lady in 2019, initially sending him on loan to Parma, before allowing the attacking midfielder to become a regular last term.
On the 21-year-old, Paratici said earlier this year: "I think Kulusevski is having a great season," Paratici said, as per Sky Italia . "He’s scored a few goals, played at a high level, but don’t forget he is only 20 years old.
"He is also evolving in his role and is capable of taking on different positions in different tactical systems."

Kulusevski ended his maiden season at Juve with seven goals and as many assists and his talents have also caught the eye of Cristiano Ronaldo.
After his signing two years ago, the Poruguese legend said: “He is a great talent. He will help us to win and achieve incredible things.
“I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player.
"I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together."
Before Spurs fans get too excited, it is claimed that any deal for the winger would be difficult ‘but not impossible’, particularly when his relationship with his former boss is added to the equation.
Kulusevski will be hoping for a big Euro 2020 to prove his credentials as one of the most exciting young talents in European football.

However, in a cruel twist of fate, his involvement in the tournament now looks in serious jeopardy after it was confirmed he had tested positive for Covid-19.
Based on UEFA protocols, he will now have to self-isolate for at least 10 days, with Sweden’s opener vs Spain in doubt.
Spain’s Sergio Busquets has already tested positive for the virus, leaving Luis Enrique’s side isolating ahead of the game in Rome.
