Demi Jones revealed she will have to take hormone tablets for the rest of her life after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The Love Island – who rose to fame in the 2020 series – recently opened up to fans about having to undergo surgery to remove the golf-ball-sized lump from her neck.
She still has to undergo further treatment to destroy any remaining cancer cells.
And now, the star revealed she will have to take hormones forever.
"I need to go for my second operation, which is this week," she said. "This is where I'll have my full thyroidectomy to get rid of my thyroid. Then I'll have my iodine treatment, which basically just zaps away any remaining bits of my thyroid or cancer.
