Jake Paul's first opponent Deji Olatunji has slammed his former rival; branding him a scumbag and saying he won't beat Tyron Woodley in August.

Olatunji, who simply goes by 'Deji' to his 10million+ YouTube subscribers, fought Paul in his first ever boxing match in 2018, going five rounds; longer than anyone since.

And he has said that Paul is a 'scumbag', even though the pair appeared to have settled their feud in the ring three years ago.

"Jake Paul is a complete scumbag," Deji told Mirror Fighting in an exclusive chat ahead of his fight with TikTok star and model Vinnie Hacker on Saturday night.

"I have no beef with Vinnie Hacker, he's a lovely guy and we even talked in the DMs."

And asked if he believes Paul will be able to beat former UFC champion Woodley when they fight on August 28, Olatunji said it was unlikely due to their rematch clause.

"I don't think he will beat Woodley honestly," he added.

"The fact that there's a rematch clause, which I heard was implemented by Jake, makes me feel that Jake isn't that confident, so I could see Tyron clipping him and knocking him down."

However, despite the animosity between the pair, Deji has said that he isn't surprised by Paul's rise up the ranks, and even believes he is better than his brother Logan, who just went eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather.

"I wouldn't say I'm surprised because he is a decent boxer," Deji continued. "Personally I think Jake's a better boxer than Logan and he fought Floyd Mayweather, I don't know how that happen, so I wouldn't say I'm surprised."

"I would definitely love to smash Jake Paul's face, let's be honest," "But, I do need to have a few fights under my belt before I could have a rematch with him.

"I'm definitely going to work towards that, but as of now I'm just focusing on other guys and I'll take it from there."

Olatunji currently has his sights set on his upcoming sophomore amateur outing against Hacker, which takes place on the undercard of a bout between social media star Bryce Hall and Austin McBroom.

He will be cornered by Robert Pelson, Dominic Santoro and Vic Imbreano from Vic's Gym in Peterborough, and had to travel through Mexico for two weeks to make it to the fight due to US travel restrictions.

"There's only one thing in my mind," Deji told Mirror Fighting. "And that's to destroy Vinnie Hacker… I'm definitely taking him out in the first or second round, 100%."

Deji will return to the ring to face Vinnie Hacker at 'Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms', which takes place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Saturday, June 12 and will stream on LiveXLive.com.

Fans in the US can attend the event live by purchasing tickets at Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com.
