A woman has spoken of her experience of being harassed by sleazy men offering her cash to fund a breast reduction operation in exchange for topless snaps.

Phoebe Rodgers, 24, said she has received some "horrible" and "degrading" messages after creating a GoFundMe page to raise £4,000 for the surgery.

The woman has been suffering with issues such as back pain, aching shoulders, breast pain and rashes since puberty, so eight years ago she visited her GP to ask about reduction surgery on the NHS.

She was advised to embark on a health journey and managed to lose weight, dropping from a size 16 to a size 12, but could not get the operation.

After losing weight, the housing association line manager feels that she now has saggy skin, so she has decided to raise money for the breast reduction operation herself, hoping to go abroad for it.

However, since launching her fundraiser, Phoebe, from Spalding, Lincolnshire, said she has received plenty of seedy messages from men who have offered her money in return for topless snaps.

The woman said: "I get messages every day from guys saying 'your t*ts are amazing' and it's so frustrating because I'm so much more than them.

"The worst bit is when you get people messaging saying 'I'll donate to your GoFundMe page if you send me a picture of your t*ts', it happens all the time."

She added: "I had one guy say he would donate £1,000 if I sent him a before and after photo but otherwise it'll be guys saying 'if you send a picture I'll donate'.

"I also get a lot of people encouraging me to start a 'limited-time-only' Only Fans account, it's just horrible.

"As soon as someone sees that you've got big boobs that's what they expect – you to be selling them or be willing to send pictures.

"At that point I think I hate them, so why would I want to encourage people to look at them? It's so degrading."

Phoebe said she first went to her GP at the age of 16 when, during a day out with her boyfriend, a middle-aged man looked at her and made a sleazy comment about her 34HH chest.

She said she felt horrible and decided to do something about it.

Even though she lost weight, Phoebe still feels that she needs the reduction operation, so she is hoping to raise enough cash to be able to afford it.

Phoebe said her mum met a woman who had breast reduction surgery in Poland, so they are now looking at the cost of it and considering it as an option.

She added: "Having this surgery would change my life. It would be such an amazing feeling to wake up in the morning and look at myself and be happy with what I see.

"It's just got to that point where I want to start living my life and being happy."

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire CCG said: "We are unable to comment on individual patients but our policy is in line with the criteria for breast reduction to avoid operations that are unlikely to be effective."
