Iconic TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly raked in a whopping £41,000 per week last year according to new figures.

Documents released from their two businesses, Mitre Holdings and Hurley Productions, showed that the pair’s earnings continued to soar through the early stages of the pandemic.

The newly released documents revealed that the television favourites raked in roughly £2.1million each in the year ending June 30, 2020.

The two businesses are responsible for their TV production empire, which includes popular television programmes such as Saturday Night Takeaway.

The documents also revealed that Hurley Productions has a sizeable chunk of cash totalling £3.3million in the bank. The company also paid around half a million pounds in tax last year.

It is understood that the figures only account for a portion of the duo’s overall income as the pair also receive separate paychecks for their roles on a variety of other ITV shows.

The duo, who are believed to be on a three-year deal with ITV, have a number of other projects under their belt as hosts of both I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Britain’s Got Talent.

The pair also released their second book Once Upon A Tyne – Our Story Celebrating 30 Years Together on Telly back in June of 2020, and have been keeping fans up to date on their joint Instagram account.

"I was incredibly angry at the start, so angry and disappointed in him that he didn't ever come to me and say, 'I'm struggling, I need you', because I thought if the shoe was on the other foot I would have gone to him and said 'I'm in trouble' and he never came to me and that hurt me a lot."

Ant admitted: "I knew he was angry and understandably so because my action not only affected me but him.

"There was a point where I thought, 'that was it', there were times I wasn't sure it [their friendship] was going to survive, times that you didn't know it needed to survive, you wanted it to survive.”
