Although the actors weren't in character for the reunion, they did revisit some memories from the show.
During the special, Jennifer and David, who played Rachel Green and Ross Gellar, shared that they "crushed hard" for one another whilst appearing on the hit sitcom.
When asked by host James Corden if there was any romantic connections off-screen, Jennifer looked a little coy as she grinned and said: "Well, errrr I mean, David…" before passing the comment to him.
"The first season, we… I had a major crush on Jen," the 54-year-old actor admitted as Jennifer butted in: "It was reciprocated!"

David continued: "And at some point we were both crushing hard on each other but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary, we respected that…" before Matt shouted: "Bulls**t!"
James looked stunned at Matt's comment and the rest of the cast laughed as he added: "I’m kidding!"
Jennifer then recalled: "I just remember honestly saying one time to David, ‘it’s gonna be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is gonna be on national television'… sure enough first time we kissed was in that coffee shop!"
The 52-year-old actress continued: "So we just channelled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel."

Also Matt Leblanc, who played Joey Tribbiani, revealed that a drunken night out was the reason why he bagged his role in Friends.
LeBlanc explained that he had been going through his lines with a friend, who said: "So, the show’s about a group of friends? Then we should go out drinking."
LeBlanc agreed to the idea and went out for a few drinks before heading back to his friend's place where he says he "woke up in the middle of the night" needing to go to the toilet.
"I got up too fast and – I can’t believe I’m telling you this – I kind of blacked out, as you do, and fell face-first into the toilet," he said.

"I hit my nose on the bottom of the toilet seat and a huge chunk of meat came off my nose. I’m looking in the mirror and it’s bleeding."
Later that day, when he arrived at his final callback for the part with a "big ugly scab" on his nose, Kaufmann asked what had happened to which Leblanc said: "I told the truth and got the job."
Elsewhere, Lady Gaga performed the show’s famous song Smelly Cat alongside Kudrow, while Justin Bieber modelled Ross’ iconic Halloween Spudnik costume and global superstars BTS made an appearance.
