Reality star Jess Wright has a new role for her TV presenter brother Mark – as master of ceremonies when she weds her Mr Right.

The former TOWIE star, 35, who is due to marry businessman William Lee-Kemp in September, has roped in her younger brother to help with her big day. And Jess won’t be short of company as she walks down the aisle.

She has lined up 15 bridesmaids – including her actress sister-in-law Michelle Keegan – who will be by her side.

Jess says: “I couldn’t choose so I thought, sod it, let’s have them all. I’ve chosen my dress now too and hopefully it will look stunning on the day.

“I can’t wait to be a bride. Will is absolutely perfect.”

The couple’s lavish wedding in Majorca has already been delayed by three months due to Covid.

But Jess, who will be starring in a nationwide tour of musical comedy Girls Just Wanna Have Fun later this year, admits: “It’s been a crazy time, wondering if it would happen or not, but we are hopefully on track now. We want to have a big wedding and so we didn’t want to take any risks.”

Jess, who started dating 38-year-old Will in 2019, is working out five times a week to get her body in “the best possible shape” for their wedding.

She also told how they plan to start a family as soon as they tie the knot.

“I love children and babies and I am definitely broody,” she says. “I have been for a while and I am at an age now where I don’t have much time.

“Will and I love our life and to give that up and be there every minute for a baby is going to be quite different. But when it happens, I am sure we will be ready.”

The couple have sold the right to their wedding to a glossy magazine – and Jess is hoping it will be the “party of the century”.

The Wright family certainly need something to look forward to after a tough year in which they lost Jess’ uncle Edward to Covid in March.

“It was terrible,” Jess says. “It was all such an awful time as Dad was in hospital too over Christmas [with Covid].

“My uncle was such a happy-go-lucky guy and he would want us to make the best of everything, which is what we are trying to do. We hope it will be the party of the century.”

Jess, who first appeared in The Only Way Is Essex in 2010 and went on to star in the ITV2 reality show for six years, reckons her 30s are shaping up to be one of her best decades ever. But she does, however, have some words of advice for the latest generation of reality TV stars.

Jess warns that the TV wannabes must be prepared for their fame to disappear as quickly as it arrived.

She says: “You need to take it with a pinch of salt. People get famous and then all of a sudden, it ends for them. I think you have to be mentally prepared for that. I say, ‘Go with caution’.”

Jess doesn’t regret being part of the reality TV craze for one second though, and says: “TOWIE was amazing but I have grown up since then. I am a different person now.

“I have definitely found myself in my 30s. You feel more secure and you know who you are.”
