Alesha Dixon got offered the job of being Australia's Got Talent's new judge after Amanda Holden rejected their offer.
The series initially began negotiating terms with radio presenter Amanda as she's on Britain's Got Talent but the star apparently wanted to focus on her projects in the UK.
Alesha – who has been the judge on BGT, X Factor, America's Got Talent and endless other competition series – then got offered the role.
A TV insider explained: "Amanda was the first choice for Australia's Got Talent and she had a series of meetings but logistically she just could not make it work.

The radio presenter, Amanda, has been busy hosting the Heart Radio Breakfast show as well as working on an upcoming series on Channel 4.
It was recently revealed that Amanda was extremely worried about sacrificing her family life in exchange for her career.
A source told Closer magazine : “Amanda loves her glamorous life and her kids are so proud of her.
“But she craves the small things – she’d rather be at the dinner table with them every night catching up on their day than on set in hair and make-up.
“That said, she also knows how incredibly lucky she is to have her career and an understanding family.”
