Chelsea are reportedly now 'favourites' to sign Jack Grealish this summer as they look to pip Manchester City to the Aston Villa midfielder's signature.
The Blues have been tracking the England international for some time as Thomas Tuchel will be given funds this summer to launch a Premier League title challenge next season.
Chelsea have been linked with a series of strikers including Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Robert Lewandowski.
But Grealish is also an option for the club in the middle of the park, but they face stiff competition from Manchester United and Pep Guardiola's side.
We revealed that Villa have put a £100m price tag on their prized asset who has been one of the best players in the country over the past 18 months or so.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea are now leading the chase to sign him this summer having fully recovered from the knee injury that kept him out of action for the second half of last season.

If Chelsea are to secure a new no.9 there will need to be players going in the other direction to balance the books.
Tammy Abraham has been surplus to requirements under Tuchel and is expected to leave the club during the window.
Olivier Giroud is another name that has been linked with an exit as Chelsea extend his contract until next summer so he wouldn't leave as a free agent.
AC Milan appear to be in pole position to sign the French striker who is on international duty at Euro 2020.
And Corriere dello Sport claims he has reached an agreement with the Italians but he needs to 'free himself' from his Chelsea contract as the Serie A side are not willing to pay a transfer free to get their man.
