Emmerdale's Danny Miller has revealed the chaotic way he found out his fiancee was expecting their first child.
The Aaron Dingle actor revealed he and partner Steph Jones had suffered fertility issues and didn't believe they could conceive naturally.
During an appearance on Loose Women on Monday, Danny told how he got the call he'd been dreaming about during a busy at work.
As he filmed the aftermath of the barn explosion, Danny checked his phone to find seven missed calls from his partner and several typo-filled text messages.
Due to Covid restrictions, the Emmerdale cast have been allowed to read scripts from their phones rather than share paperwork so Danny had his mobile to hand.

"I was in the middle of the storyline and I had seven missed calls and four texts, none of which made sense," he told the Loose Women.
"I then had to step off set when I could. I knew there was something going on."
The pair told fans they were expecting 'Baby Miller' in May as they shared a sonogram picture to Instagram.

Danny said he and Steph were 'humbled' to become parents, "We know not everyone is so lucky," he admitted.
Steph, who has Polycystic ovary syndrome, said they were psyching themselves to go through a round of IVF treatment when they learned they were expecting their first child.

The couple first met at Primary School when Steph moved into Danny's class.
The soap star, who admitted he fancied his new classmate straight away, proposed in January year over a romantic candlelit dinner in St Lucia.
“I thought I was going to be sick because I was so nervous,” Danny told OK!
Just weeks later the lovebirds discovered that Steph was pregnant.

"We’ve done so many tests that were negative so I wasn’t expecting it to be positive – I couldn’t believe it! I was shaking and trying to ring Danny, but he wasn’t answering because he was on set," said Steph.
Danny said he had a feeling it could be the happy news he was waiting for but had to finish his scene before calling back.
"I rang Steph and she was laughing but crying and I just knew. With us being with the IVF consultant the day before, I was in complete shock. I started crying. It’s making me emotional to think about it now. I bought another pregnancy test on the way home, not that she had to prove it, but I just wanted that moment for us," he recalled.
