Katie Price was over the moon after her 'mucky mansion' landed a TV show deal focused on its renovation.

The former glamour model took to her Instagram Stories to share the exciting news that Channel 4 picked up the series.

"So excited that the renovation of my house is now being filmed by channel 4 starting tomorrow all the way through to October so now let's get started everyone," she wrote on her page.

The 42-year-old and her fiancé Carl Woods were recently spotted moving back into the house that she previously swore she would never return to.

She was seen shifting her belongings from her rented Surrey digs into the huge £2 million house in West Sussex she had left behind while renovations were being done.

The couple were seen unloading a moving van and heading into her old digs with boxes.

A neighbour exclusively told the Mirror: "I don't think Katie is actually moving back into the house, she's just using it for storage.

"And anyway it's such a mess that it would probably cost her a few hundred thousand just to make the place liveable again.

"The land is littered with flytipping, the cesspit needs to be replaced, there's fire damage and the ceiling is still damaged from the flood, so there's damp all through the house as well."

Katie has taken to her YouTube channel over the years to share glimpses of her home with fans.

People were left particularly shocked when her home was shown on an episode of Through The Keyhole and piles of bags and boxes were seen strewn all over the place.

She showed fans her green pool

Fans will remember how many of her pets were constantly filmed running through the house licking up random food and drink spills from the floor.

In 2018, it was claimed that her house "smells like a petting zoo" and that Katie lets her dogs poo inside and doesn't clean it up.

A year later, she filmed her garden and swimming pool – which was green and filled with slime.

In September 2020, Katie was left horrified when her home caught fire while it was unoccupied.

Hopefully, with the new Channel 4 series, Katie will finally get her dream home.
