Stacey Solomon rushed her son Rex to hospital after the two-year-old suffered a 'nightmare' fall at home.

The Loose Women star, who is pregnant with her fourth child, said her toddler son needed urgent medical attention after hurting his lip.

Rex took a tumble in the garden of Pickle Cottage in Sunday and Stacey admitted she initially she told him to get up.

"But we looked and realised it was not an 'up you get situation'", she told her Instagram followers.

"He hurt his lip so we took him to A&E and he got some butterfly stitches put on.

"I'm going back today to get some proper stitches because it's in a really awkward place," added Stacey.

The mum said Rex was 'so good' and 'didn't make a sound' after hurting himself.

"Joe on the other hand, did not enjoy it," she laughed.

The TV star said her fiancé Joe was so upset he had to leave the treatment room.

"I'm going to be looking after Joe today more than Rex," she joked.

Stacey, 31, blamed the incident for her social media absence over the weekend as she concentrated on taking care of her family rather than posting on the site.

The accident came just after Stacey had enjoyed a few nights away from her kids on a relaxing spa break with her sister Jemma.

However, it wasn't all smooth-sailing as Stacey admitted that she and Jemma mistakingly turned up at the wrong spa on the day.
"It's so beautiful here. We actually came to the wrong spa. Only my sister could managed that…

"But luckily they were so so lovely and had a spare bed so we slept here and are heading to right one in the morning. Felt like Mary and Joseph looking for an inn."
