Great British Bake Off favourite Manon Lagrève has given birth to her first child and says she is already in love.

The talented baker and her fiancé Luke Bennett welcomed their "healthy and happy" little girl on Father's Day.

The thrilled couple have named the new arrival Fleur Camille.

Proud Manon, 29 shared the first photos of her daughter on her Instagram account.

Uploading some snaps of the tot, the skilled French star made the announcement with some adorable photos.

Alongside, Manon penned in the caption: "Fleur Camille Bennett.

"Born on Father's Day 20th June 2021, all happy and healthy.

"A little lady who took us by surprise when she decided to come! We love her very much already."

Her fellow GBBO co-stars rushed to congratulate the pair after they showed off their little girl to the world.

Winner of 2018 show Dr Rahul Mandal wrote: "Awwww!! Isn't she just gorgeous!! Congratulations to You and Luke! And lots of love, hugs and cuddles to Fleur from uncle Rahul!"

Kim-Joy commented: "What a cutie!! She’s so lovely! Congratulations! can’t wait to meet little Fleur xxxx"

Helena Garcia, who appeared in the 2019 series of the show, added: "Huge congratulations! You named her the French equivalent of my Flora!"

In the three photos, Manon could be seen laying on her back as she held her newborn up to her chest.

Manon and Luke are planning to tie the knot in her native France next year.

She told Hello! magazine in Marcg: "I grew up knowing I wanted to be a mum so I’m very happy and relaxed with being pregnant.

"The baby will be with me in the kitchen from the day it’s born."

Manon was sent home from Bake Off 2018 during the quarter final after failing to impress with her Danish baking talents – despite her ties to Denmark.

She said at the time: "I love Denmark, I have been twice to Copenhagen, and my best friend is Danish but none of that helped me! I do have a good relationship with Denmark and know it well, and I was hoping I could have made my friend proud, but she has now forgiven me!

"Every week I remained in the tent was a bonus and to be a quarter finalist, well that for me was a huge personal achievement. I didn't make it to Patisserie week, and that’s a shame as that is what we French are known for!

"I so wanted to get to that particular week as it would have made my parents so proud, but it was not to be, c’est la vie!"
