Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) is banned from seeing his son Sam in upcoming scenes as Sam's mother, Natasha Blakeman, tries to keep him away from danger.
It comes as Nick's ex-girlfriend Leanne Battersby is being constantly threatened by thugs working for drug baron Harvey, who she and her son Simon Barlow got into big trouble with.
Recently, Leanne was confused when Sharon Bentley, Harvey's aunt who works for him, appeared to try to warn her about something.
Shortly afterwards, Nick and Sam were shot at but thankfully unharmed – and Sharon took a horror beating for stepping out of line.
Leanne is set to face Harvey in court soon to testify against him, but there's a chance she will be too afraid of the repercussions if she gets him sent down.
Natasha has been left terrified for Sam's safety after he was shot at
Nick is heartbroken he is not allowed to see his son
Spoilers reveal that David Platt puts pressure on mum Gail to let Sam see Nick, but a stressed Gail is adamant she must respect Natasha’s wishes of Sam not seeing his father.
Meanwhile Nick tells an angry Sarah he is going to sell his shares in the factory as he wants to spend more time with Leanne.
Does this mean Nick and Leanne could be getting back together after splitting when Leanne struggled to cope with the death of her son, Oliver?
When David dupes Gail into Sam and Nick meeting, another row breaks out at the Platts' house.
Gail heads outside for some air where Sam finds her doubled over and clutching her chest in pain.
As an ambulance is called a breathless Gail accuses Nick, Sarah and David of causing her heart attack with their endless bickering.
Will Gail be okay? And what will become of Nick and Sam's fledgling relationship?
