Television veteran Lorraine Kelly has revealed how her GMB host Susanna Reid has been Kate Garraway 's 'rock' amid her husband Derek Draper's Covid nightmare.
Kate's ITV colleagues were understood to be left distraught by her husband's health battle, but Lorraine says news anchor Susanna has in particular been a "rock" to Kate throughout.
Lorraine admitted: "Kate has been extraordinary.
"What she's going through is remarkable. I think for everyone who works at ITV, it's really brought it home to us when it happens to someone so close to you and it's so catastrophic.
"It does make us all more concerned that we have to get the vaccine, we have to obey the rules.
"Everyone knows that, it's only a small proportion – I don't know what they're thinking, they're deluding themselves.
"Because we are in it together, we're going to get out of it together."We have all got responsibility, we've got to get the vaccine for us and for the people we love," she told The Sun.

"But the accessing of it is very limited. He's a long way from the Derek Draper that you know Andrew but he's home and he's alive, he's asleep now."
Kate recently shared her hope that Derek, the dad of her kids Darcey and Billy, would continue to get stronger every day.
Sharing a snap of herself in her garden on Instagram, she wrote: "Happy @gardendayuk! My garden is definitely my happy place & even though it’s not big or fancy I love being out there even if the weather isn’t perfect because just being outside listening to the rain fall and the wind blow through the leaves is like therapy for me."
