After locking down while single, this year’s Love Island contestants are very much ready to mingle…
While recent series of the reality dating show have comparatively chaste behaviour in the villa – after a fair few sex scenes in early seasons – this year's contestants aren’t ruling out a return to the romping.
“If I was in a relationship with someone while I was in the villa, and that was the natural next step. Then, I couldn’t rule it out completely,” says Nando’s waitress Liberty Poole, 21.
Meanwhile, fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi, 26, laughs at the prospect: “It’s not on ‘Kaz’s 2021 bingo,’ let’s say.
“If I met the right person and it happened, great. If I haven’t met the right person and it didn’t, then that’s fine as well.”

The two Islanders will meet each other and the other nine Islanders this weekend ahead of the new series starting.
And Essex dwelling Kaz – who describes herself as a “maneater” – admits that after lockdown, even slightly amorous attention will be welcome.
“If I’m being honest, a knee brush will feel more than a knee brushes because we have been in a whole pandemic,” she laughed.

Both say their families would be “supportive” however far their relationships go in the villa.
“My family trust my judgement more than anything in the world, so they know I’m gonna do nothing that makes me uncomfortable,” says Kaz.
Liberty also discussed what she packed for the villa.
She has packed 50 “blinged up” bikinis – and Nando’s waitress Liberty Poole wants this series of Love Island to be the “most glamorous ever”.
The 21-year-old Brummie wowed producers with her array of swimwear – the most a contestant has ever packed, according to one.
She boasts: “I’ve got a different one for every day. I’ve got some lacy underwear and stuff but I wear that day-to-day anyway, so that’s my usual look."
The new series starts Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
