Erling Haaland urged Gareth Southgate to freshen up his England attack by sending on Jadon Sancho for the second half of the Euro 2020 clash with Germany.
Sancho has had to settle for a minor role at the tournament and was named on the bench for the fourth game in a row ahead of the last-16 clash at Wembley.
The winger watched on during a frustrating first 45 minutes which saw England struggle to break down their opponents.
And Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland issued a plea to the Three Lions boss to introduce his club teammate Sancho at the interval.

Haaland took to Twitter at half-time to write: "Time to bring on Sancho…"
The Norwegian's concerns over England's lack of attacking threat were shared by the pundits in the BBC Sport studio, who were especially nonplussed by Harry Kane's first-half performance.
"We struggled for the first 10 minutes but once we got in there we passed and moved it around and created one or two chances," said former Three Lions striker Alan Shearer.
"Bukayo Saka was very lively on that right-hand side and has to do more of that.

"We have to be careful with them on the break and Kyle Walker has done well to stop that. [It has been] Very even so far.
"A confident Harry Kane sticks that (last minute) chance away, it fell perfectly for him, can he put it away with his left foot?
"Raheem Sterling drove in there. It was a sitter. Harry has to offer more, there is a lack of movement from him and he has to help the team more. He should be finishing it off a lot better.

"He has to do more and patience will be running out."
Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann added: "Harry Kane has often showed with Spurs he didn't get a rhythm in the game then he drops back and gets some touches and becomes lively.
"Then he goes back in a number nine role and this is about confidence because us forwards, we know we need to be alive, we need to be in the game. If he roams around more he does himself a favour and does his team a favour."
Unfortunately for Haaland, however, his advice was not heeded by Southgate, with the England boss not making any changes at half-time.
And it was Germany who started the brighter side in the second half, just as they did during the opening stages of the last-16 clash.
Nonetheless, England weathered a flurry of attacks from Joachim Low's side by the hour mark and posed a constant threat on the counter thanks largely to Bukayo Saka.
