Showing off her natural beauty, Kate Ferdinand took to her Instagram stories to show off her makeup-free face as she prepared for a day of meetings.

Smiling for the camera, the mum-of-one looked radiant as she posed ahead of some virtual chats.

The wife of former footballer Rio Ferdinand wore her caramel blonde hair loose and accessorised with gold hoop earrings.

Captioning the stunning selfie, Kate wrote: "A full day of zoom meetings", adding some gifs to her social media update.

Prior to Thursday's makeup-free snap, the star had used her social media platform to open up about the struggles of becoming a step-parent.

The 30-year-old is a step-mum to husband Rio's three children from his marriage to his late wife Rebecca Ellison who sadly passed away in 2015 following a battle with breast cancer.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Wednesday night, Kate asked her followers in a similar position how they find parenting someone else's children.

The former TOWIE star, who became a mum to son Cree in 2020, wrote: "Even if you are a totally confident parent, being a step-parent can be the hardest thing you'll ever do.

The fitness fanatic was inundated with replies and shared some responses to her stories on Thursday morning and continued the thought-provoking conservation.

The mum-of-one opened up about being a step-parent on Instagram earlier this week

"Morning, I've been reading through all of your responses from last night and wow… sending all my fellow stepparents lots of love and support," the blonde beauty wrote.

"Many of you are feeling grateful but overwhelmed, stressed, pushed out and are struggling."

She continued: "1 more question for you all… Where do you go to for support when you're feeling 'stuck'?

"Do you speak to friends? Any specific social pages that help? I salute you all. It can be tough but remember you are doing the best you can."

The star has formed a close bond with husband Rio's three children, Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, 10 since meeting the former Manchester United player in 2017.

The pair met through friends while on holiday in Dubai and went public with their romance in August 2017 and have been loved-up ever since.

The couple tied the knot in Turkey two years later and in December 2020, welcomed their first child into the world together, Cree.

The footballing legend revealed that his three children helped him pop the question to Kate during to Abu Dhabi in November 2018.

The 42-year-old said his oldest son, Lorenz, summed up Kate’s arrival into their lives three years ago as making their house ‘brighter’ and all his children get on well with their step-mum.

"Listening to the kids warms my heart because I know we’ve made the right decision," he said at the time.
