A homeowner on TikTok has documented the moment a group of builders turned up at her home and started renovating her back garden, despite the fact she didn't request any work.

Chloe Fountainn was relaxing at home when the work men showed up with a huge truck filled with rocks, but while you'd expect her to run outside and put a stop to the unplanned reno, she said nothing.

Taking to TikTok, Chloe shared a series of clips, from the moment the work men turned up, to them ripping up decking, and maintains she has no idea what they're doing but she's up for the surprise.

"You've got the wrong house! You have the wrong house! Oh no, you have the wrong house," Chloe can be heard saying from behind her closed door, as the work men drop huge mounds of stone onto her back yard, adding: "This is a big mess up."

In a follow up clip, Chloe added: "Well, they're at the wrong house but I'm not going to stop them because I'd love to have free concrete – or a deck, whatever they're building. I'll let you know in part three how it looks."

In part three, the TikToker confessed she had no plans to tell the builders she had not ordered the work, until whatever they were doing was complete.

"Okay, so they're here now, but obviously they're not finished and there's no way I'm telling them about it," she said.

"I'm going to tell them when they're done. I want whatever they're doing down, and then I'm going to be, like, 'Wrong house!'"

In a fourth video, Chloe doubled down on the idea that she had no idea what the builders were actually doing with the garden, but explained that it looks as though it will be concrete or a deck.

"It's a complete surprise because they're at the wrong house, right?" she said. "So if you know what this is going to be – it's all stone – let me know."

However, not everyone on TikTok believed Chloe, and many people have pointed out that not paying for the work would constitute theft.

"Sorry to tell you that what you're doing is illegal because you could've stopped them before it happened," one user commented.

Meanwhile, another added: "The fact that y'all believe this is real is hilarious…"

In the comments section Chloe later clarified that she was happy to pay for the work as she's wanted a new desking for so long.

We can't wait to see how this one turns out.
