America’s Got Talent fans were left in floods of tears as the widower of a victim from the Kobe Bryant crash, Matt Mauser, stunned in a tear-jerking audition.

The emotional teacher burst into tears when he appeared on stage ahead of his spine-tingling audition as he revealed that he was the beloved husband of helicopter crash victim Christina Mauser.

Matt’s wife was killed on January 26 last year after the fatal helicopter accident left nine people dead – including NBA star Kobe Bryant and his 12-year-old daughter, Gigi.

When the teacher-turned-singer stepped on stage, head judge Simon Cowell quizzed Matt on why he decided to try out for America’s Got Talent so late in life.

The emotional singer, who was already teary-eyed on stage, then burst into tears as he explained his heartbreaking story.
