Chelsea have yet to make a splash in this summer’s transfer window, but Thomas Tuchel is keen to bring in reinforcements.
The German enjoyed a superb start to his Stamford Bridge career, guiding the Blues to the Champions League just four months after being appointed as Frank Lampard’s successor.
It wasn’t completely plain sailing for Tuchel however, the former PSG boss struggled to solve the club’s woes in front of goal, with Jorginho finishing the season as their top scorer in the league with just seven.
Timo Werner managed just six in the league, while Tammy Abraham continues to be linked with a move away.
Olivier Giroud has already joined AC Milan meaning a new striker is highly likely to be on Chelsea ’s agenda ahead of the upcoming season.
Here’s the latest Chelsea transfer rumours, including reports of a surprise departure:
Lewandowski talks underway

Robert Lewandowski continues to be linked with a blockbuster move to west London.
Erling Haaland is said to be Tuchel’s top striker target, but Borussia Dortmund are adamant the 20-year-old is not for sale.
If a deal for Haaland is too difficult to complete, Bayern Munich legend Lewandowski could come into their plans.
Sport Bild via the Sun claim Chelsea have been in contact with the player’s agent Pini Zahavi over a potential switch.

The Poland international has two years remaining on his contract at the Allianz but could look for a fresh challenge and to test himself in the Premier League.
Bayern want to extend his contract, but the report adds that Lewandowski is tempted by a change of scenery.
Werner open to exit
Werner failed to have the kind of impact he would have wanted in his first season in English football, managing just 12 strikes in all competitions.
Tuchel then opted to play the German on the wing in the latter stages of the season, with a new centre-forward likely to arrive this summer.

The Blues boss opened up on the team’s goalscoring issues in an open challenge to the likes of Werner.
"We need more goals and we rely on anybody and we want to trust anybody who is capable of scoring," he said in April.
“Our top scorers have six goals. This is clearly not enough for the demands, the expectations and the targets Chelsea football club has and what we demand.”
But according to 90min Werner is open to leaving the club, with a return to the Bundesliga his preference.
Abraham’s stance on Arsenal move
While suggestions Werner could leave may be premature, his colleague Tammy Abraham looks destined to move on.
The 23-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Tuchel and failed to break into his line-up, playing just 17 minutes in the final three months of the season.
Chelsea are willing to sell Abraham,, but will look for around £40million, according to the Athletic.
Tammy Abraham looks set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer
Arsenal have been heavily linked and the report adds that Abraham’s name has been floated around during transfer discussions.
Abraham is said to be open to joining the Gunners, although any potential bid would be dependent on outgoings, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both available to leave.
