Passers-by questioned her about the condition and she claimed it started from a pimple she popped in 2013.

It's uncertain that this was the cause and it seems more likely to come from a rare condition called neurofibromatosis.

The genetic disease causes non-cancerous growths.

The problem causes severe discomfort and Librada's growths often burst and leak on the floor where she sleeps.

She said she didn't have the money to visit a doctor to treat her symptoms when the problem started six years ago.

Instead she resorted to visiting shamans who told her that she was cursed by a witch.

What is neurofibromatosis?

Neurofibromatosis is a group of conditions where tumours grow on the nervous system.

It is caused by a genetic mutation in certain genes, and can be either inherited from parents or occur in a patient’s early development.

There are three different types; NF1, NF2, and schwannomas.

Currently, there is no prevention or cure, but the tumours are normally non-cancerous.

A patient may require surgery if the tumours start to cause problems or become cancerous, or they may be treated for complications surrounding the conditions, such as high blood pressure.

Superstitious locals even taunt her by saying she is 'a 'zombie'' and stay away from her – afraid that the ''curse'' will be passed on to them.

Tragic mother-of-two Librada is heard saying in the video that she took a six-month course of medication but it "turned out bad''.

She claims she'd only been to the doctor about it once but they never followed up on the appointment.

Librada adds: ''It has been getting worse and I don't know what to do.''

Passerby Kelly Lee, who filmed the woman, said she wanted to try to get medical help for her.

She said: ''The old lady's name is Librada and she has been like this for as long as I can remember.

"She's saying in the video that she doesn't know how long she has to live, but she is always saying that, even a long time ago.

"Now people say many bad things about her, that she's a zombie, she's cursed or has evil spirits in her.

''No one takes care of her. She washes her clothes, cooks her own food, and sleeps on the floor. She lives with her son.

''She sleeps on the floor with the dog, the floor is sometimes stained with the stuff that comes out of her wounds. I just wish she gets treated soon.''
