A woman has told her friend that the name she has chosen for her son is "the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard" through fear he will be bullied for the rest of his life.
Asking for advice on whether she had been too harsh, she explained the friend has spent her seven-month pregnancy trying to decide on a name for her child.
While discussing baby names previously, the soon-to-be revealed that she like names with unique spellings such as 'Makeighleigh' and 'Jeydeyn', so her friend says she was "very intrigued" to see what name she would eventually land on.
But she was left stunned when the friend, whose surname is Greene, announced she had decided to call her son 'Blac'.
The name has caused an argument between the friends

She wrote: "I kid you not, this girl is naming her child Blac Greene. So I asked her why she would name her son after colors and she said something along the lines of her liking the uniqueness of the name, no one's gonna have the same name as him, and that if she named him this everyone would think his name is super cool and clever.
"I was dumbfounded and laughed out loud then told her that it was the most ridiculous name I've ever heard.
"She got angry at me and called me an a**hole for making her feel stupid and 'being a hater'. I feel kinda bad now. Did I go too far?"
But other people were in unanimous agreement that she had done the right thing to speak out against it, with one saying: "That is an awful name. She will hear how awful every single day if she names her kid that."
A second wrote: "As a card carrying member of the Kids With Weird Names Club, I am authorized to say you are doing the Lord’s work. Y’all, stop naming your kids stupid names for no good reason."
Another added: "I'd like to be a live and let live kind of person, but that is an awful name. You didn't make your friend feel stupid, she was being stupid."
